Aptus Biotech offers aptamer related services. Specifically search and selection of aptamers against specific targets. Depending on the availability of specific targets and time required, it may offer a budget and an estimate delivery time.

Budget and delivery time

The pricing and the term of service depends on several parameters that the client can choose:

The number of aptamers against a specific target and / or the number of targets to select: the larger the number, the lower the final price of each selected aptamer. Combining several searches at the same time, get a significant reduction in the final cost.

The type, quality and quantity of the protein (or other type of target) specific against which to select the aptamer. Do not have a good starting material delays and cost overruns mean the final result.

The final amount of aptamer material to be demanded.

Delivery time: as a base, provides a period of approximately between 3 and 12 weeks for completion. In case of urgent work and with full dedication of a technician and the necessary equipment, will involve an extra cost. In the latter case, and with the target clearly identified and in good condition, it is estimated that can deliver a first result in about 3 weeks. On the contrary, the possibility of having a more flexible deadline allows the testing sets with other targets and thus, optimization of the final cost.

In case of acquiring or licensing a determinate aptamer developed by Aptus, specific conditions will be negotiated in each case.

Binding validation by surface plasmon resonance (SPR) is not included in the price, and will be offered as an additional service.

Binding affinity studies

On request, Aptus also provides quantification of the level of affinity of the aptamer selected with the specific target. The measurement may be determined by using a SPR equipment (surface plasmon resonance).

Getting the “target”

When not having the specific target against which to select an aptamer, it will be necessary to find and obtain it at the best possible conditions. The work is budgeted on an individual basis, given the variability of each particular case.

Aptamer supply

The price offered may include the provision of aptamer synthesized at a fixed priced to be agreed in each case.

Other services

APTUS also offers the possibility of adapting the aptamer functionality to customer’s requirements. This includes biotinylation and other functionalities.

Payment and supply

Work begins after paying 50% of the budget. After successful completion of the work, according to predefined specifications, the remaining 50% shall be paid before giving the final results. If the result is not obtained, 50% of paid works would be refunded.
